Biographical Sketch

I am Abu Bony Amin, PhD student in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass), started in Fall 2021. Formerly, I have obtained MS in Electrical Engineering from Florida Polytechnic University in Summer 2020 and completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). In this meantime, I completed MBA in Finance at Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in Spring 2023 due to having a irrepressible penchant toward business aspects of technological advancement. 

Currently, I am working as a Research Assistant (RA) at Nursing Engineering Lab. at UMass. My current research interest is Hardware Design and Firmware Programming for Biomedical Devices and Biosignal Processing. I am the recipient of the Best Paper Award at IEEE UEMCON 2019, Columbia University, NY, USA.
